Red Velvet’s Seulgi will debut as a solo artist

According to an exclusive media report, Seulgi is currently working on her solo debut album aiming to release it in October. Following Wendy and Joy, Seulgi is the third Red Velvet member to debut as a solo artist.

She has previously released solo songs including OSTs, however, this is the first time she is officially releasing an album as a solo artist.

Red Velvet is girl group from South Korea formed and managed by SM Entertainment. They originally debuted on 2014, with the single “Happiness” with the four-member line-up of Irene, Seulgi, Wendy and Joy.

On 2015, Yeri, the fifth member, joined the group. 

The group’s discography includes two studio albums, one reissue album, one compilation album, and ten extended plays—twelve of which have topped the South Korean Gaon Album Chart. Their hit singles “Red Flavor” and “Power Up” reached number one on the Gaon Digital Chart.

We know that Seulgi will do an amazing job and we can not wait to listen to her new music.
