BLACKPINK is back! After two years of absence, the most famous K-Pop girls released their new song “Pink Venom”, a preview of their album BORN PINK and their upcoming world tour. The idols made history within days of its release and surpassed BTS.
BLACKPINK ranked #1 on iTunes in several countries, and also reached the second place in Melon, the most important chart in Korea. Pink Venom’s video also broke big numbers, reaching 100 million views in just over 24 hours, the fastest girl group to do so.

They also proved their worldwide popularity, as BLACKPINK’s “Pink Venom” debuted at #1 on Spotify in the global chart, surpassing the old record set by BTS, even beating Beyonce. It became the first Korean and girl group song to top the chart in the platform’s history.

Beyoncé had 5.145 million with “Break My Soul,” BTS recorded 7.78 million with “Dynamite” and BLACKPINK managed to reach 7.
