On Saturday, August 20th, BTS‘ Suga took ARMY to learn a new skill at the carpentry workshop. As previously seen in “In The Soop“, the idol has always had a fondness for this craft.
The rapper decided to make whale-shaped cutting boards for his companions, since this is an important creature between BTS and ARMY. The whale represents ‘Whalien 52‘, which is a BTS song released in 2015 from his album ‘The Most Beautiful Moment in Life, Part 2‘.
Your carpentry experience was very beautiful! You were a perfectionist, careful and generous (making 7 pieces for your brothers) as you are with your music. Congrats #Suga ! I loved your VLog! @BTS_twt#VLog_Suga #BTSVLog_Suga pic.twitter.com/ts7z4oyi8j

Fans were touched that Suga wanted to make 7 boards for each of the K-Pop group members. The video shows the producer slowly learning the ropes and adding his own quirks to each piece.
He listens carefully to the instructor about the process, choice of wood, shapes, sizes, etc.

Suga couldn’t help but talk about his other projects with the wood. He told the instructor that when all the members lived together, he built and assembled all the furniture in his common house, however this was an individual gift and although he was nervous he achieved his goal.
The best detail was the temporary mark he created called “Min” taken from his real name “Min Yoongi”, which was an absolutely amazing personal touch to his amazing work.
