The single, BLACKPINK’s “Pink Venom“, amassed 86 million views on YouTube in the first 24 hours of its release, becoming the biggest music video of 2022 so far, breaking BTS’s “Yet To Come” record.

Not only that, but the girl group’s new single also became the fastest music video by a K-Pop group in 2022 to surpass 6 million likes on the music video platform.

For its part, “Pink Venom” is very successful on the national charts registering more than 468,000 unique listeners on MelOn within the first 24 hours of its release, becoming the second best release of 2022 on the music streaming platform followed by BIGBANG with “Still Life”.

The girls also topped several iTunes charts with the title, which is ranked No. 1 on the iTunes World Songs Chart, which shows the most popular song in four continents: America, Europe, Asia, and Oceania.

The project’s album “Born Pink” amassed 1.

5 million pre-orders within six days of its announcement, making it the best-selling album by a K-Pop girl group before its release.
