BLACKPINK‘s next album, titled “BORN PINK“, will only be released in September, but the quartet is already securing records with the project, still on pre-order.
With a release date scheduled for September 16th, the new album by the South Korean group is already a real success, conquering more than 233,000 units still in presale and in a single store specialized in the K-Pop market, Ktown4u.
That number has already set a new record for BLACKPINK, which now has the largest presale for a K-Pop girl group.

The pre-sale of “BORN PINK” surpassed that of “Girls”, by the aespa group, which held the record with a total pre-sale of 232,000 units in store.

Until the final release in September, that number is expected to grow even higher, keeping BLACKPINK as the most popular K-Pop girl group today. The first single from the South Korean quartet’s new album is called “PINK VENOM” and will be released on August 19th, already with a music video.
After announcing the release of their long-awaited upcoming studio album, world tour, and new single, the group took to social media on Monday morning to confirm the official dates for the shows, titled “BORN PINK WORLD TOUR”.
The group consisting of Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé and Lisa announced a total of 35 dates around the world, with a premiere planned for October 15th, 2022 in Seoul, the capital of South Korea. The girls’ tour will continue through North America, Asia, Oceania and Europe.
