On July 13th, Big Hit Music released an update on TOMORROW x TOGETHER‘s Beomgyu‘s condition. On July 11th, fans noticed that although Beomgyu performed well, he looked tired during the GMA interview.
During the interview with Rolling Stone magazine, fans praised Kai for handling the situation well by assuring them that Beomgyu only went to the bathroom when he left the interview for a while. The reporter also noticed that Beomgyu looked a bit sick and pointed out that TXT has been quite busy in recent days.
Fans waiting outside the venue noticed that Beomgyu left before the rest of TXT and hoped that he was receiving medical attention. Later, leader Soobin informed the fans who were taking care of Beomgyu that he was a bit sick.

Beomgyu also told fans that Soobin took care of him and that he was fine. But fans were upset that Big Hit pushed Beomgyu to end his schedules. On Wednesday the 13th, Big Hit Music announced:

“On July 11th, Beomgyu was admitted to the hospital during his TOMORROW x TOGETHER USA show due to his deteriorating health. The doctor confirmed that it was safe for Beomgyu to perform, so he attended the band’s concert in Atlanta on July 12th, but missed some performances due to his health not improving“.
“Beomgyu is currently resting after completing the Atlanta concert and plans to focus on fully recovering his health”, they continued.
“The artist has expressed a strong desire to complete the remainder of the tour schedules, but as the artist’s health is our top priority, we would like to advise that Beomgyu’s participation in upcoming North American concerts may change at any time“.
“We will do our best so that Beomgyu can once again welcome fans with a healthy image. Thank you“, they concluded.
