Bad news for Shawn Mendes fans. This Friday, July 8th, the singer surprised the public by announcing, on his social networks, the postponement of all his shows scheduled until the end of July. In a very personal account, the artist explained the decision.
“After a few years off the road I felt I was ready to dive back in but this decision was premature and unfortunately the toll and road pressure caught up to me and I hit a breaking point“, he wrote.
“It breaks my heart to have to say this, but sadly I will have to postpone the next three weeks of shows in Uncasville, CT until further notice. I’ve been on tour since I was 15 years old, and to be honest, it’s always been hard being on the road away from friends and family“, Mendes began in a tirade.
