One Direction’s Liam Payne made a series of controversial comments that angered BTS fans. The reasons, comments full of ego and with a lot of bad intentions, where some big fandoms noticed how the artist underestimated the popularity of the artists he talked about in the interview he had with influencer Logan Paul.
The podcast called IMPAULSIVE talked about Payne’s musical journey and his time with One Direction, however; they also commented that the success achieved by the British band would keep them even after they broke up as the biggest boyband in the world.

Logan Paul noted the following: “You’re part of One Direction, probably the biggest boyband of all time and you still haven’t replicated their success. I don’t know if there’s anyone else besides K-pop.” ARMY immediately lashed out at Payne for the way he mentions the K-pop industry and its fans, as he seems to be belittling their effort and work.
.
Furthermore, ARMY points out that he has found a way to minimize the global impact of K-pop and especially BTS.
Where many claim that the only thing he feels is envy.
Following Logan Paul’s comment, Payne responded as follows:
“Yes I think some K-pop bands have reignited the theme. Of course obviously we can also count on 5 seconds of summer.
CThey worked well too.”
