IU celebrates her birthday with donations for the needy and charitable causes

On May 16 (KST), IU’s backing company, EDAM Entertainment, posted a tweet mentioning that the artist has donated more than 210 million won (approximately 160 000 dollars) to different organizations that are in charge of helping young people, single parents and people with disabilities.

The Snail of Love, Korean Unwed Mothers’ Families Association, among others, are some of the beneficiary associations. Likewise, the agency wrote the statement thanking IU and her fans:
