Stray Kids fans criticize ‘excessive’ Photoshop in photos of Bangchan

Stray Kids has recently been selected for partnerships with various brands, and fans are happy to see the members in different jobs, and although photoshopping is common, fans have complained about the one done on Bangchan.

Fans rejoiced when the group was announced as the next #BENCHGlobalSetter from Philippine brand BENCH to promote an eco-friendly collection made from recycled PET bottles. However, fans were quick to notice that some members looked a bit different in a series of promotional photos.

Bang Chan’s nose, in particular, seemed almost unrecognizable. While fans understand that promotional photos are often touched up, there’s a difference between removing stray hairs and completely changing a person’s nose.

Some fans even pointed out that Bang Chan’s airbrushed nose almost resembled IN‘s nose, though critics were confused when they realized that IN’s nose looked airbrushed as well.

In previously released photos for the brand, fans didn’t notice any excessive editing, leaving them even more confused as to why it happened. Also, Bang Chan has often expressed insecurities about his appearance.

Although fans know that Photoshop is often designed to meet certain beauty standards, it seems like a line has to be drawn somewhere. Bang Chan and none of the Stray Kids members need it.
