The 52-year-old star detailed this Tuesday, April 12th, how the request came about. Lopez confirmed the rumors through her newsletter, “On The JLo”, on Friday. On this night, she gave details, saying that the request happened in a romantic and unpretentious way. After all, she was surprised by her lover while she was in a bubble bath.
“Saturday night, while in my favorite place on earth (in the bubble bath), my beautiful love got down on one knee and proposed. I just looked into his eyes smiling and crying at the same time, trying to understand that after 20 years this was happening again.
I was literally speechless and he said, ‘Is that a yes? Yes!’“.
