Bandits prepared an action to steal cars in the capital of São Paulo. They prepare a fake parking lot for the Maroon 5 show in the city and, in addition to charging for parking, they stole at least 7 cars, according to the G1 website.

The group of bandits appropriated a plot of land near the Allianz Parque stadium, where the show took place, and, posing as valets, attracted several drivers to park their cars in the fake parking lot. The thieves charged between 10 and 32 dollars as a fee to leave the cars, with their keys.

We have cars that cost R$800,000 and others that cost R$50,000. The impression it gives is that they are chosen positioning cars, deliberately the type of model they wanted”, said the holder of the 23rd Police District of Perdizes, Reinaldo Vicente Castello, to G1.

The thieves‘ action was recorded by a security camera near the false parking area. The Allianz Parque stadium has already commented, informing that it has nothing to do with the parking lot operated by the bandits.

Our parking lot does not have valet parking (it is self-parking) and all operations are carried out within the premises of Allianz Parque. In addition, we encourage all official communication channels (website and social networks) about the official parking service, including encouraging advance reservations”, said the statement from the Allianz Parque administration.
