Harry Styles has been breaking several records since the release of the track “As It Was”, lead single from the album “Harry’s House”. This time, the song’s instant hit entered Guinness World Records as the most streamed track on Spotify in 24 hours by a male artist.
The news was shared by the institution itself this Saturday, April 9th.
The large accumulation of plays on its first day available on platforms had already been confirmed by Spotify. However, Guinness decided to investigate and confirmed that the track was, in fact, the most popular track.

“As It Was” which has a mix of retro 80s echoes and contemporary sounds, has racked up no less than 16,103,849 streams in its first 24 hours on the platform, according to Spotify’s daily Global Top 200 chart.
The song also topped several countries around the globe, in a total of 34 countries at #1. In the US alone, according to Guinness, the track gathered an impressive 8.
3 million streams, surpassing Olivia Rodrigo’s “drivers license” as the most streamed on its first day in the United States.
