The internet is definitely no man’s land and BTS‘ label, Big Hit Music, is well aware of this, so much so that it has filed several lawsuits against social media users who make defamatory comments against the group.
In a recent publication on WeVerse, a very successful social network in eastern countries, especially in South Korea, Big Hit Music updated the public on the status of its legal proceedings against the detractors of BTS.
“We recently filed multiple criminal prosecutions using new information sourced from fans as well as collected through our monitoring efforts. We filed criminal prosecutions after reviewing personal attacks on online channels and online publications containing defamation”, the label said.
