SHINee’s Taemin and his unexpected cameo in drama ‘Pachinko’

The long-awaited series “Pachinko” premiered on streaming on March 25th to positive reviews and the expectation of thousands of fans. The cast of the series includes famous actors such as the experienced Youn Yuh Jung, Jin Ha, Kim Min Ha, and Lee Min Ho, who is known as a Hallyu icon in various regions of the world.

One of the applauded moments in preliminary reviews was the opening credits sequence for “Pachinko.

” In the opening, all the actors are shown dancing in the arcade to which the name of the series refers.

The video is also a collage of photos from the time the story takes place, childhood portraits of the cast, and other seemingly random clips.

A SHINee fan noticed that the moving hands, which appear for less than three seconds in the sequence, are almost identical to a music video shot of member Taemin.

In the MV for the song “Want” the K-pop artist dances and the camera captures his outstretched hands. The user made the side-by-side comparison and also shared a video linking the clips from “Pachinko” and the “Want” MV.
