After securing several records in the Guinness Book, the Book of Records, for her victories at the 2022 Brit Awards and for the song “Easy On Me”, Adele now celebrates another record, this time with the sales of the album “30”.
The Guinness Book acknowledged the fact that “30” was the best-selling album of 2021, reaching 5 million units sold globally in just 43 days since its release. This is Adele’s 6th record from Adele’s “30” era and the British singer’s 46th entry into the Book of Records overall.

In other related news, “30” was the best-selling album of 2021 worldwide, according to information from the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI) report. And it is worth mentioning that all this in record time! After all, the work was officially launched in November, very close to the end of the year.
With only 6 weeks of counting, “30” managed to surpass the sales of Olivia Rodrigo and Justin Bieber, who were in second and third place, respectively. The federation considers all sales formats, whether physical or digital. With the feat, Adele became the first artist to lead the ranking of best-selling albums in 4 years (2011, 2012, 2015 and 2021).
Despite its release only in November 2021, the album was an immediate global success, reaching number one in more than 20 countries, including the United States and the United Kingdom.
