Only one rapper appears on the list of highest paid artists of the genre, released by journalist Zack O’Mailey, ex-Forbes. Jay-Z and Kanye West topped the ranking shared by Vibe and were the hip hop artists who earned the most in 2021.
Mr. Carter earned around $470 million, while the “Donda” owner made $50 million. In third place is Diddy with $75 million, ahead of Drake, who made $50 million. The list continues without female rap representatives until the tenth position, when Doja Cat appears with her $ 25 million raised last year.
