“My priorities fluctuated and my focus changed throughout my life”, Camila said.
“Those years when we were dating, even while I was writing this album, and even now, I think the focus wasn’t really on how I can be a whole person. And besides, my focus wasn’t even on my career.
This album was literally a tool for me to become a more complete person and to acquire intimacy with my collaborators. That was my number one intention.

My focus was just: How can I live a happy life and be in a healthy relationship? I did a lot of therapy. My focus has really shifted. And even now, while I’m in the publicity mode, honestly, if I’m not having fun, what’s the point of it?“.
“I think as I get older, yes, priorities change. And I feel like it was like that for both of us.
Because we both started so young too, we’re really learning to be healthy adults and that sometimes means not having the number one focus in your career. And that’s okay“.

“my mom would say, ‘You’re devastated now, and you’re going to be devastated the next time this happens to you.’ Then I’d say, ‘I’ll never go through something like that again.
‘ And life proves you wrong every time.
You never know what’s around the corner. And my mom literally always, over and over again, says this is how life is”, she added.
