South Korean President mentions BTS in recent speech

Every first day of March, South Korea commemorates the Samil Movement, also known as the March First Movement, in honor of a series of events that began in Seoul as a resistance to Japanese occupation in 1919.

This day is celebrated by all Koreans, and President Moon Jae In gave a moving speech in which famous K-pop group BTS was mentioned as an example of the Hallyu wave.

On March 1st, the president of South Korea, Moon Jae In, in the framework of the Samil Movement, spoke about the popularity that Korean arts and culture have gained around the world, for which he took BTS as an example.
