ARMY is massively denouncing fake ticket pre-sales on social media.
The Kpop group’s fans claim that tickets for ‘Permission to dance‘ in movie theaters are being resold through social media and many are turning to this medium since they couldn’t buy them at official venues.
Several fans bought tickets through places like Facebook marketplace and when they went to the place to pick them up, no one was there and they were scammed. One of the fans who reported the situation to the police said:
“I arrived and the only thing that answered the person’s phone was customer service and I realized that there was no one there, I decided to come to the police but the scam was already done,” assured the follower of the group.

Due to the great success of the pre-sale of tickets to see BTS in theaters, several resellers offered tickets to theaters and ARMY reported that there were scams with virtual money deposits for the performances of Permission to dance on stage in Seoul.
In Arngentina, ARMY decided to create reporting groups for K-pop fans. This is an account that users have used to alert ARMY of possible scammers who ask for the deposit in advance and then block the person’s contact.
