Avril Lavigne‘s new album, “Love Sux”, officially arrives this Friday, February 25th, and in a recent interview, to publicize the project, the Canadian singer confirmed that she recorded enough material for two new albums.
In an interview for the “Kyle Meredith with…” podcast, Avril Lavigne commented on the recording work for “Love Sux” , stating that she recorded more than 30 songs with producers John Feldmann and Mod Sun and that some of her favorite songs nor were they on the tracklist of the new album, which has 12 tracks.

And for that, there is a second disc confirmed.
“I’m really proud of all the songs and I’ve written over 30 songs so I’ve had a lot to choose from and put my favorites on the album, so I’m really excited for this album”, said Avril Lavigne.
The idea of releasing a double album, according to Avril Lavigne, was always the initial plan for “Love Sux” .
“I have a few favorites that didn’t even make it on the record.. Literally I could release another album right after this one and I’m in love with every song“, said the singer.

According to Avril, the recording process for “Love Sux” was a lot of fun, “the most fun” she’s ever done and that’s why they didn’t stop recording and produced enough material for two albums.
“When we completed the first album, I said ‘no, no, no, this is so much fun’ and everyone was like ‘let’s keep going’ and I didn’t want this experience to end”, Avril Lavigne explained.
