The most popular KPOP girl group in each city of the United States

KPOP was originally created in the 90’s in South Korea, however, their musical roots date back to the 50’s.
On April 1992, the first two KPOP artists debuted on national TV, called Seo Tiji and Boys. They are considered the pioneers in combining the rap music with Korean Pop.

On 1995, the biggest three entertainment companies rose, taking the initiative to promote the whole KPOP movement and their groups. The next year, the first group oriented to the young adult public also appeared, called HOT.

Right after that, being a KPOP Idol became basically a career in the country, and KPOP Academies were created were you could join being as young as 12 years old.

As of today, KPOP is positioned as one of the most listened to musical genres worldwide.
