BTS’ Jin breaks important record in the United States with his song ‘Yours’

“Yours” is the new song by BTS’ Jin, which was released to appear in the biggest-budget K-Drama in history, made by production company Astory and famous music director Gaemi, ‘Jirisan‘.

Since then, the idol has set quite a few records and the prestigious Forbes magazine named him “the most successful artist in his field.” Three months after the song came out, it has been breaking records on Billboard’s US Hot Trending Songs chart.

Yours” became the longest-running Korean song in the Top 10 on the said chart, spending nine weeks on it. On top of that, Jin became the first Korean artist to have two songs spend at least ten weeks on the Hot Trending Songs chart as his other song “Super Tuna” spent its tenth week on it.

.

Since the chart algorithm is new, both songs had the problem of not appearing on the chart for the first 4-5 days, and not all mentions on Twitter were included.

However, months later, the songs, “Yours” and “Super Tuna”, are still the most talked about topics on Twitter, consistently being in the Top 10 most mentioned songs in the United States.
