BTS Jin’s ‘Yours’ Scores New Billboard Milestone for Ranking on Hot Trending Songs Chart

On February 1st, the new Billboard Hot Trending Songs chart was revealed, showing the numbers for the last calendar week. The list includes songs from all around the world, as usual.

Between the solo songs that made it to the list, Jin appears with his songs “Yours”, placed on the 10th position and “Super Tuna”, 8th on the list.

It comes to show just how big Jin’s popularity is on social media, specially on twitter. However, the record he has broken is not due to the amount of entries on the chart, bur rather for the amount of weeks each one has spent inside the list,

As of today, no other solo song from a korean male artist had stayed for 12 weeks in the Billboard Hot Trending Songs before, as “Yours” did just recently. Naturally meaning that Jin has stablished the record for the longest runing solo song from a korean male artist.

Some of the other solo songs that have spent at least 12 weeks on the chart have been “LALISA” from Blackpink’s Lisa, which spent 15 weeks, and “Money”, from the same artist, which spent 13 weeks.
