Discover the Woman Of The Year 2022 in United States – Women In Music

2021 was an epic year for Olivia Rodrigo, thanks to this she will honored being named the “Billboard’s 2022 – Woman Of The Year”. The honor for the Drivers Licence singer was announced on Friday, February 4th, along with some details on general public tickets for the Live event, which will take place on March, 2, 2022 at the Youtube Theater in Hollywood Park – Inglewood, California.

“Olivia’s trajectory to superstardom is the stuff of pop music legend,” said Hannah Karp, Billboard’s Editorial Director, in a statement.

“Her talents as a storyteller and songwriter have made Olivia one of the most authentic and exciting new artists to explode onto the scene in years. Connecting with audiences across generations through emotionally charged songs about heartbreak, jealousy and growing up, she’s achieved absolutely incredible chart success for a debut artist. We are thrilled to celebrate her unique voice and the enormous impact she’s had on fans around the globe in such a short time.

With her debut single “Drivers License”, she obtained fame from around the world, not just in the United States, but talking about this country, the song gained x4 Platinum for selling over 4 million units in the territory. SOUR was named the #1 album of 2021 by Rolling Stone and was called one of the Best Albums of 2021 by The New York Times.

Rodrigo will be on tour this 2022, the tour is now sold out and is called “SOUR TOUR”, which will visit around 50 major cities across North America and Europe.
