BIG HIT MUSIC woke ARMY up with bad news about Jimin. The BTS member had to be hospitalized on Sunday, January 30 due to acute appendicitis. In addition to this, the “Filter” singer tested positive for COVID-19 according to a PCR test. After undergoing surgery in the early hours of Monday the 31st, Jimin is recovering favorably.
The event coincided with the beginning of the Lunar New Year holiday or also called Seollal in South Korea. Just hours before ARMY found out what happened to Jimin, BIG HIT had shared the messages that BTS left for the fandom for the traditional date.
The letter Jimin wrote resonated with his fans, especially the part where he stressed how important it was to be healthy.
“I have two wishes for you. The first is that they can smile and laugh more than they did the year before and the year before that.
The second is that I hope, with all my heart, that their bodies and souls remain healthy”, reads a fragment of his letter.

“Dear ARMYs, now that we are celebrating the Lunar New Year I really feel like we already live in 2022. I am very curious to see how you start the year, but I am also worried about what you might be feeling.
We always wish you happiness, but it seems that we are not in a position to say that everything (the pandemic) is over yet.
Although the moments that we lived together in sadness, joy and comforting each other seem to have become memories of the past, I also admit that the beginning of this year felt a bit bitter.
But, of course, we can’t sit back and do nothing.
It is because I have all of you, the people who have become my strength in situations like this, that I look forward to the day when we can meet with a happy heart.
I have two wishes for you. The first is that they can smile and laugh more than they did the year before and the year before that. The second is that I hope, with all my heart, that their bodies and souls remain healthy. I miss you, I miss you, I miss you, ARMY.
I hope that this year does not end only with the desire to see them, but that it comes true”.
