Fans of LOONA have pointed to the company JYP for having “plagiarized” ideas from a clip of the Blockberry Creative girl group for the new team that is getting ready for the debut.
The company that has previously powered TWICE, Stray Kids, GOT7, ITZY, and many more to success is soon debuting a new girl group.
NMIXX is the name of the group, made up of 7 girls, and has already begun to catch eyes with the trailers released to start getting to know them. JYP Entertainment shared a video of the girls titled “New Frontier: Declaration“, we see the artists in various scenarios.
This video of just over 2 minutes long and with a voiceover where the story of a revelation is told, where the girls discover that in all light there is also darkness but they also share their determination to demonstrate their talent.
.
The clip is made up of small video fragments, sometimes we see combinations of colors, the sky, the sea, the desert and more, but some details caught ORBIT‘s attention.
LOONA fans took to social media to point out that there are some similarities to a group MV called “Why Not?” For example, a shot where you can see a footprint on the ground and also a shot that makes us visualize a hurricane from space.
This has aroused mixed opinions among netizens, some see inspiration, others call it plagiarism, and others simply say it’s a widely used concept in K-pop.
