APRIL‘s Hyunjoo is attacked in networks after the dissolution of the South Korean group, on Tuesday, January 28, due to netizens claiming that the separation was because of her.
After April’s disbandment was announced, fans have taken it upon themselves to bombard Hyunjoo’s social media with criticism. It is believed that the reason for the girl group’s disbandment was Hyunjoo’s previous bullying accusations.
DSP Media reported on January 28 the disbanding of APRIL. In their statement, it is indicated that there was a mutual separation agreement between idols and firm, but no reasons were specified.
lee hyunjoo destroyed April with her lies and now she's jobless, begging for someone to sponsor her dying modeling career because she can't even act. That bitch will get what she deserves. #이현주 better disband herself out of the industry next. https://t.co/8jF01qCsXl

We inform you that our artist APRIL has dissolved.
After a long period of discussion and debate, our agency and the members decided to disband the group and go their separate ways.
We ask that you give a lot of support and interest to the six members, who will be going down a new path that is not part of APRIL.
Also, we would like to once again thank the fans who have supported and cheered on APRIL over the past six years.”
