Lizzo shares a snippet of a new song next to her mother

Lizzo is more than ready to release her new song, but before that, alongside her mother, she shared a snippet of the new track, still without a release date set. The new song, which also has no title revealed by the singer, is one of those empowering songs, to make you and your loved ones feel special.

And because of that, Lizzo recorded the moment her mother heard the song for the first time. In the video, the singer explains that she always wanted to make her mother proud and that she always made her feel special and that’s why, in the song, the singer wanted to do the same for her to feel and know that she is special.

The new song will follow “Rumors”, Lizzo’s collaboration with Cardi B, released in August 2021.

Many people believed the joke and she had to publish a second video denying it and explaining that it was, in fact, an excerpt from “Rumors”. “Guys, I was joking in that other video. You all know that’s just my verse in ‘Rumours’ right?”
