It’s Charli XCX and Rina Sawayama, who combine perfectly in both vocals and authentic style. The name of the song is “Beg For You” which brings a danceable sound and intense lyrics.
The song is part of the album “Crash”, the fifth of her career, which will be released on March 18, 2022. She has already released the singles “Good Ones” and also her partnership with Christine and the Queens and Caroline Polachek, “New Shapes“. With few songs, she already proves that this project is going to be amazing!

“Oh, Oh, don’t you leave me this way
Won’t you wait another hour or two?
You know I need you to stay
Don’t make me beg for you, ’cause I’ll beg for you“.
The song may sound a little familiar to you, as it samples “Cry For You”, a 2000s hit originally sung by September.

In other related news, in a recent interview, Charli said that the sound of “Good Ones” is very similar to the rest of the record. The track is a good example of the project’s melodic line and sums up the idea of the album well.
“I think ‘Good Ones’ goes along the lines of the 80s sound and that’s definitely found throughout the album, not just in the production aspect, but lyrically, visually”, the artist explained.
“It ‘s kind of interesting because that’s when I started with my first album ‘True Romance’ which had very 80’s lines and I was listening to a lot of Kate Bush, Martika and T’Pau”, notes XCX.
“We ended up back in the same frame of mind”.
