Ariana Grande is one of the starring names appearing in the credits of Netflix ‘s new hitmovie “Don’t Look Up”, an apocalyptic satire featuring Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Lawrence and Meryl Streep.
The singer, in addition to acting as Riley Bina, also lends her voice to the production’s soundtrack with the song “Just Look Up”, a collaboration with Kid Cudi. In a recent interview, the film’s director, Adam McKay, said he was surprised by Ariana’s ability to improvise on stage:
“It made sense to have the biggest pop star in the world playing the biggest pop star in the world. We put her on set for her first scene with Leo and Jen, and she’s improvising lines. I knew she was going to get the song right, but I didn’t know she knew how to improvise”, said the director.
