Madonna‘s music and legacy is extensive and influences generations. However, there is a big difference between inspiration and plagiarism. In this second case, the singer will not tolerate it. She recently noticed this kind of “imitation” in a song by Canadian singer Tory Lanez called “Pluto’s Last Comet”, released on December 10th.
The accusation of plagiarism comes from the song “Into the Groove”, from 1985. Madonna wrote publicly on the singer’s Instagram:
“Read your messages to find out about the illegal use of my song Into The Groove”.

“Into the Groove” was worked on in 1985 as a single from the album “Like a Virgin”. It was not officially released in the United States, but it was 1st place in several countries such as the United Kingdom, Australia and Spain. In fact, the similarities are undeniable. If this is not resolved amicably, it will likely go to court.
