BLACKPINK’s Lisa gets new certificates after breaking records with “LALISA”

Lisa, from BLACKPINK, has a lot to celebrate, after all 2021 was the most important year of her career so far. This Wednesday, December 22th, the singer received two commemorative plaques that attest to the success of her solo single “LALISA” at Hanteo, music chart responsible for accounting for single and album sales in South Korea.

Officially released in September, the song achieved excellent results and led the Thai artist to sell over 500,000 copies and have the highest sales in a first week in the chart’s history.

The singer shared an image in which she appears holding two sales certificates, “New Record” and “Gold Certificate”. The awards are the result of a week of record-breaking debut for a female artist, with more than 730 thousand copies sold.

In other related news, the dance video for the song “Money”, which has already broken several YouTube records, has now secured another week in the Google video platform’s weekly Top 5 chart.

In this week’s update, “Money” came in at number two, with a total of 20.3 million views in the November 26-December 2 period. “Money” has already topped YouTube’s weekly list 3 times within those 10 weeks in the Top 5.

On YouTube’s music chart, “Money” is still running strong, with a total of 40.

7 million plays across its multiple uploads to the platform, ranking No. 4 on YouTube’s weekly global music chart. In total, “Money” has been on YouTube’s global music chart for 12 weeks.
