This year 2021 K-pop has expanded around the world, many artists raised their international profile with releases that reached large audiences like never before, the songs crossed the limits to represent more than just the stars who sing them. For that reason, Billboard lists the best K-pop songs of 2021 selected by the critics.
Billboard knows how difficult it would be to capture the ingenuity of the K-Pop industry on a list; however, the included songs provided a brief glimpse into some of the best work K-Pop has to offer in a year that was challenging for many. And in the lead is the group TXT (Tomorrow X Together) for the third consecutive year.
