BTS announces holidays and launch individual Instagram accounts

After two years of hard work, without rest, the boys from BTS are going to take a well-deserved vacation, as announced by the group’s label, BIGHIT Music . Additionally, the seven BTS members now have individual Instagram accounts.

The BTS remained active throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, between 2020 and 2021, releasing songs, clips and performing in shows and awards and now, the boys will rest to return with everything for the new shows, scheduled for 2022, plus a new album, which should also be released next year.

The label’s release describes the new album as the “beginning of a new chapter” for BTS.

Hello. This is BIGHIT Music.

We would like to let you know that BTS is planning to take a second official extended rest period from the first in 2019 after they complete their official scheduled events of the “BTS Permission To Dance On Stage – LA” and the “Jingle Ball Tour” concerts 2021”.

BTS remained active to interact with fans in 2020 and 2021 amid the Covid-19 situation and achieved incredible results to consolidate them as great global artists.

This rest period will give BTS members, who have tirelessly committed themselves to their activities, a chance to re-inspire and recharge with creative energy. It will also be the first time since their debut that they will spend the holiday season with their families. We urge you once again to show consideration for their need to enjoy normal, everyday, free lives while focusing only on themselves, albeit for a short time, during this rest period.

BTS will focus on preparing for the show and launching their new album which marks the beginning of a ‘new chapter’. They are preparing for a concert next March to connect and communicate with their fans in person in Seoul.

We would like to extend our deep gratitude to all the fans who continue to root for BTS and they will come back in their best and healthiest ways after reloading, so that they can return all the fans’ love.

Thanks.

In addition to the holidays, BTS members have something new for fans: their individual Instagram accounts. It took more than 7 years, since the group’s debut, for this moment to finally arrive. Check out each of the BTS member accounts:
