Taylor Swift reacts to Billy Joel’s words comparing her to The Beatles

Billy Joel is one of the greatest legends of American music and for him, Taylor Swift is like The Beatles of his generation. And that statement really moved the singer, who reacted to the comparison with one of the greatest bands in the history of music, made by one of the greatest icons in the industry.

In a recent interview with Extra, Taylor reacted to the news about the comparison made by Billy Joel and his reaction was one of disbelief.

“It honestly kind of broke my brain because it doesn’t feel like something real that would happen in life. I may have hallucinated it, maybe we had the same hallucination because I don’t know how to process words like that coming from someone like him, I’m a huge fan of his”, said Taylor.

“This is an icon saying that. I don’t know if this really happened, I need to see a video or something to prove it because wow!”, concluded the singer.

The record previously belonged to Elton John, who achieved four albums topping the Billboard 200 in the space of 69 weeks between 1974 and 1975.

1 albums on the Billboard 200, and is only the second woman in history to earn that number, following in the footsteps of the legendary Barbra Streisand, who has top 11 spots.
