James Corden apologizes to BTS after controversy with ARMY

James Corden and BTS talked about the controversy that was generated with ARMY due to a monologue given by the American presenter. It was RM who brought to the talk the issue, which allowed ‘Papa Mochi’ to offer an apology.

“We’re all fine, but, James, you’ve been in some trouble with ARMY. Are you okay?” Was what Namjoon said when the interview began. Given this, Corden explained that it was a “harmless joke” and that he had not “been on that side of the fandom before“, on the “black list” of ARMY.

Furthermore, he apologized to the members of the South Korean group. “I hope they know. We love you and ARMY. I consider myself ARMY. I have seen them at their best (…) I hope they know that we never wanted to cause any harm”, was what he said. Quickly, RM accepted the presenter’s apology.

“We know, everything is fine, we accept your apology,” he said.

The controversy between ARMY and James Corden originated due to a monologue given by the host on his show where he called BTS’ presence at the United Nations event “unusual”.
