BTS received the award for “favorite pop duo or group” on Monday, for the third consecutive year at the American Music Awards (AMAs). The septet won the award for the third year in a row since 2019.
The mega-hit “Butter” topped Billboard’s top song chart “Hot 100” taking first place for the 10th non-consecutive week.
“Permission to Dance” and “My Universe”, the collaborative song between BTS and the British pop-rock group Coldplay, also placed at the top of the same list.

When being awarded in the category of best pop duo or group, BTS thanked ARMY, their legion of fans, saying that they are their universe, as well as the title of their latest hit, “My Universe“.
