SHINee member Minho has been confirmed as the protagonist of the new South Korean drama on Netflix, “The Fabulous”. The artist will star opposite actress Chae Soo-bin in a production that has not yet had its premiere date announced.
The drama will address the fashion industry and will tell the story of a photographic designer named Ji Woo Min, role of Minho, who is no longer in love with his work, and Pyo Ji Eun, played by Chae Soo-bin, who works in an office of press for luxury brands. The two maintain their friendship until a romance breaks out.
In other releated news, Taemin officially reported to the South Korean army in late May. He is the youngest member of SHINee and is serving in the military band after receiving basic training.
He is the last member of SHINee to enlist in the Army. Onew, Minho and Key were all relieved of their mandatory military duties in 2020 and the group made their long-awaited comeback earlier this year with the song “Don’t Call Me”.

Taemin also released his last solo project before enlisting on the 18th of this month. He released his third mini-album “Advice” , with five new songs, in addition to the MV for the track with the same title.
The MV, it is worth mentioning, reveals a dark and very performative concept with a video that shows the artist performing elaborate choreographies amidst neon lights in shocking scenarios. The first scene, for example, shows Taemin with his arms tattooed, shirtless, as he plays a piano using a mask to cover his face.
“Advice” is the title track mini album of the same name, which also features four other songs (“SAD KIDS“, “Strings” and “Light“), including a collaboration with Taeyeon of Girls’ Generation, in “If I Could Tell You”.
