After releasing the compilation “I SAY MAMAMOO: THE BEST” with Solar, Moonbyul and Whee-In, this Tuesday, November 9th, Hwasa, from MAMAMOO, confirmed the arrival of his new solo project this month! The novelty was accompanied by an unprecedented teaser that shows the artist in different environments, with a very mysterious vibe!
Hwasa’s last release as a solo artist was in June 2020, when she released the EP “María” with 6 songs, including the title track of the same name which already has more than 148 million streams on Spotify.
Other than that, in August of this year she made a guest appearance in the song “I can’t make you love me” with Kinda Blue. The song is very romantic and is about being madly in love with someone.
As for the new project, it’s not clear if it will be just a song, an EP or a full album! Additional information will be released soon, including the release date.

Solar, Moonbyul, Wheein and Hwasa released on September 15th the new MAMAMOO album titled “I SAY MAMAMOO: THE BEST”. The project is compiled with new versions of past hits, but also delivers the unreleased track “mumumumuch” with music video!
“ I SAY MAMAMOO: THE BEST ” also includes new versions of songs already released by the group, such as “I Miss You”, “Piano Man” and “Decalcomanie”. In addition, some tracks gained new arrangements focused on rock, hip hop and funk boost.
“I SAY MAMAMOO: THE BEST” marks MAMAMOO’s first release since Solar, Moonbyul and Hwasa renewed their contracts with RBW Entertainment. Already Wheein chose not to renew his contract with the agency and currently part of the label THE L1VE Vixx Ravi.
“Wheein has signed an extended agreement to participate in some activities, including albums and concerts, until December 2023. MAMAMOOO’s music will continue as fans love and we will inform you of future activities”.
