Citing sources with direct knowledge, TMZ reported that Zayn allegedly hit Yolanda, an accusation that the singer denied in a statement to the outlet.

Zayn Malik said he hopes Yolanda “will reconsider her false accusations and move toward healing these family problems in private.”
He also appeared to address the allegations in a statement shared on Twitter Thursday afternoon, writing that he first and foremost wants to “protect” Khai.
