After six years of relationship, singer Zayn Malik and model Gigi Hadid are no longer together. According to information revealed yesterday, October 28th, by People magazine, multiple sources have confirmed the breakup of the couple. The news comes on the same day that Malik rebutted assault charges made by his now ex-mother-in-law, Yolanda Hadid.
“I vehemently deny attacking Yolanda Hadid and, for my daughter’s sake, I refuse to go into more detail and hope that Yolanda will reconsider her false allegations and move towards resolving these particular family issues” Zayn told TMZ.
Zayn and Gigi have a daughter, Khai Hadid Malik, who is just 1 year old.
“Gigi is exclusively focused on the best for Khai. She asks for privacy during that time” the model’s rep told People in an official statement.
Before making the statement to the TMZ website , where he denies Yolanda’s accusations, Zayn Malik published an open letter on his Twitter profile commenting on the current moment he is going through. The Brit emphasized the importance of maintaining his and his daughter’s privacy.

A place where private family matters aren’t thrown on the world stage for all poke and pick apart. In an effort to protect that space for her I agreed to not contest claims arising from an argument I had with a family member of my partner’s who entered our home while my partner was away several weeks ago.
