Shawn Mendes was one of the guest artists for “We Can’t Survive” a fundraiser for the American Foundation, which took place at the Hollywood Bowl last Saturday, October 23rd. In an interview given before taking the stage to sing “Wonder”, the singer revealed that he deleted the TikTok app from his cell phone.
The reason is common: mental health. The Canadian star revealed that he spends a lot of time on social media, which might not be a good habit.
”TikTok is great (…) I have a extream social media addiction so like I have to really balance myself, I have to delete these apps from time to time”, he explained.
The interpreter of “Summer of Love” reiterated that he has nothing against the social network.
“When I have [the app], that’s all”, he said. “I am a son of Vine. They are different, TikTok is much more advanced”, recalled the singer.

In other releated news, Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello are in Mexico. Although they prefer to have a more discreet attitude, fans are already aware of their presence there and even discovered the hotel where they are staying. With that, they flocked to the front to try to make contact with the artists.
The fans are relentless and stayed late into the night in front of the hotel. This ended up bothering not only the artists, but the other guests as well. Ultimately Jake, Shawn Mendes’ security guard, had to intervene. He politely asked everyone to go home so everyone could rest.
Looks like people got the message.
The presence of the two began to be talked about because Camila Cabello had shared on Instagram the decorations of Día de Muertos, with flowering skulls, something typical of Mexico. Thus, she raised suspicions about her visit to the country, later being confirmed with images.
