Ed Sheeran used the YouTube Shorts tool to show snippets of new songs. He was creative and made very literal videos with track titles.
In “Shivers”, for example, he enters an ice bath. Already in “Stop The Rain” he is in the rain, but it wasn’t real.
“I had a really fun day filming my YouTube shorts” explained Sheeran.
“I’ve always enjoyed the music video process so much, so it was fun to explore a new way of doing this, channeling the theme of each song in a unique way, while giving a preview of the album!

Despite advances towards ending the Covid-19 pandemic, with mass vaccinations around the world, the pandemic is not over yet and Ed Sheeran is the youngest artist to claim to have tested positive for Covid-19.
The singer confirmed the news in a publication on his social networks, where he confirmed that he is already in isolation and following government guidelines to prevent the spread of the disease.
With a new album, “=” , to be released next Friday, October 29th, Ed Sheeran also revealed that he will continue with the project’s promotional agenda, with interviews and live performances, remotely, directly from his home.
“Hey guys. Quick note to tell you that i’ve sadly tested positive for Covid, so I’m now in self-isolating and following government guidelines.
it means that I’m now unable to plough ahead with any in person commitments for now, so I’ll be doing as many of my planned interviews/performances I can from my house. Apologies to everyone I’ve let you down.
