Despite advances towards ending the Covid-19 pandemic, with mass vaccinations around the world, the pandemic is not over yet and Ed Sheeran is the youngest artist to claim to have tested positive for Covid-19.
The singer confirmed the news in a publication on his social networks, where he confirmed that he is already in isolation and following government guidelines to prevent the spread of the disease.
With a new album, “=” , to be released next Friday, October 29th, Ed Sheeran also revealed that he will continue with the project’s promotional agenda, with interviews and live performances, remotely, directly from his home.
“Hey guys. Quick note to tell you that i’ve sadly tested positive for Covid, so I’m now in self-isolating and following government guidelines.
it means that I’m now unable to plough ahead with any in person commitments for now, so I’ll be doing as many of my planned interviews/performances I can from my house. Apologies to everyone I’ve let you down.

In other releated news, Ed Sheeran is joining The Voice team. This Tuesday, November 5th, the British singer was announced as Mega Mentor of the 21st season of the musical reality show. He arrives at the attraction this Monday, October 25th, to help competitors in the Elimination Rounds.
