Recently, BLACKPINK’s Lisa has finally debuted as a solo artist with her song called ‘LALISA‘ and the track ‘MONEY‘, both viral on all digital platforms and debuting at the top of most of the global charts, as well as coming with an impressive music video worthy of YG Entertainment.

Everything was going very well with the news about the figures reached by ‘LALISA’ during the opening week until Billboard released an article to publicize the news about the positions reached by the idol with her single album in the different charts, in the article, they said:

LiSA 『炎』 -MUSiC CLiP-

LiSA reaches 2nd place in the Global 200 with ‘Lalisa’ her second top 10 and her highest entry on the chart since she premiered ‘Homura’ at # 8 in October 2020. The member of the South Korean group BLACKPINK, was born in Thailand As a member of the group, she also peaked at #8 with Ice Cream ft.

Selena Gomez and with Lovesick Girls.”

.

Of course, fans of the singer and the group, called BLINKs, are not at all surprised by the company’s mistake as they have done similar things with other Asian acts in the past. The fandom took to social media to ask the music giant to correct the error.

LISA - 'LALISA' M/V

Some accuse Billboard of committing racism as many ignorant people make the mistake of saying that “all Asians look the same“, and it is “impossible to tell them apart“. The only request that the fandom is making is that the error be corrected or that the necessary actions be taken if it was done on purpose.
