BTS and BLACKPINK at the MTV Video Music Awards 2021: schedules and how to see the awards live

One of the most anticipated events in music has arrived. The 2021 MTV Video Music Awards are held this weekend and could give awards to BTS and BLACKPINK, the most prominent South Korean groups of the moment.

This 2021, the gala will be broadcast live from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn with the conduction of the charismatic rapper Doja Cat. Then, check the most important data to see live the MTV VMAs 2021.

The ceremony will take place on Sunday, September 12. Because the date falls one day after the 20th anniversary of the attack on the Twin Towers, the program will have a tribute in commemoration of the victims.

The 2021 edition of the MTV VMAs begins with a preshow at 6:30 p.m. m. (ET), which can be seen live on the organizers’ social networks.

The main ceremony begins at 8:00 p.m. (ET) with an outstanding line-up of stars that includes Ed Sheeran, Justin Bieber, Olivia Rodrigo and more.

BTS performing: will they be performing at the MTV VMAs?

So far 21 musical acts have been announced for the VMAs main ceremony. BTS does not appear on this list, so their appearance at the gala would be given with a thank you video in case they win one or more of the seven prizes for which they compete.
