Brie Larson to replace Scarlett Johansson in new Disney movie and criticism rains

As much as it seems that in the film industry everyone works with pleasure and supports each other in exciting projects, we must not forget that it is an industry like any other. The amount of money that flows can cause two people (or in this case, a star and the studio he worked for ten years) to find each other at any moment, on opposite sides of a stage.

There are many stories like these, but few have made more news in recent months than the confrontation between Scarlett Johansson and Disney.

After the premiere of Black Widow, the long-awaited solo film starring the character Scarlett played for a decade for Marvel, the actress filed a lawsuit against her bosses. According to her, the simultaneous release of the film in theaters and streaming Disney + would have been a violation of her contract. Everything revolved around a clause, which indicated that a significant part of Scarlett’s earnings would be derived from the international box office of her film.

The relationship between the actress and Disney has only gotten worse in recent weeks. It would be for this that the studios are already looking for replacements for the projects that they had agreed to carry out with the actress.

The name that has come up, according to We Got This Covered sources, would be none other than one of Scarlett’s colleagues, Brie Larson.

If this turns out to be the case, it would be a very unexpected turn of events. Brie Larson was even criticized for her vocally militant position in favor of women’s rights, as well as everything that is considered the politically correct movement. However, when Scarlett has found herself battling the world’s largest studio, the one that even tried to taint her name, Brie has remained silent.
