BLACKPINK beats Justin Bieber and becomes most subscribed artist on YouTube

Following Lisa’s debut with the MV “LALISA”, BLACKPINK managed to become the artist with the most YouTube subscribers by beating Justin Bieber, who was in first place.

According to YouTube data, BLACKPINK’s channel reached 65.

2 million subscribers on Friday, September 10.

That amount placed them above Justin Bieber who registers 65.1 million followers and was at the top of the ranking for two years and a month.

BLACKPINK had held the second spot since September 29, 2020, when it surpassed DJ Marshmello‘s channel. With their new position, Jennie, Lisa, Jisoo and Rosé reaffirm the qualification of queens of YouTube, a distinction popularized by the success of their MVs on the platform.
