Lisa will debut as a solo artist on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’

Lisa‘s solo debut will get all the attention she deserves. The BLACKPINK member is scheduled to perform on the US TV show “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on the day of the release of single-album “LALISA” on Friday, september 10th.

The advertising strategy set up by YG Entertainment is very similar to the one created for Rosé‘s solo debut earlier this year. Rosé also sang on Jimmy Fallon’s talk show in the week of the single-album release “-R-“.

The single-album “LALISA” will be heavily promoted by Rosé.

On release day, she will do a showcase, a live on VLive and this performance on Jimmy Fallon. The next day, she will be interviewed for the radio show “The Woody Show”. On the 18th, she will have the “fansign” event.

Lisa’s long-awaited solo release, by South Korean group BLACKPINK, hasn’t even been released yet and is already a historic success: in just 4 days of pre-sale, the physical single of “LALISA” has already sold 700 thousand units.

The information was confirmed by the girls’ own label, YG Entertainment, which revealed that Lisa’s solo release is already the single album by a female K-Pop solist with the highest number of units sold yet in pre-sales, surpassing the single-album by Rosé, also by BLACKPINK, which had 500,000 units sold before its release.

The 700,000 units were sold between the 26th and 30th of August and had orders from around the world, such as the United States, China, Japan, Europe and, of course, South Korea.

In other Lisa-related news, the BLACKPINK member released the third teaser for her single-album “LALISA” on Thursday, September 2nd. The small video shows the star in a white studio hanging from a chain over what appears to be a lake. The clip has only 24 seconds and does not give clues about the sound of any song.
